WHO + WHY
A friend reminded me recently that what made you weird as a kid is exactly what makes you great today. I was the “sensitive” kid, the tragically uncool “good with adults,” and had a very busy inner world.
In my last 8+ years as a creative leader, I’ve seen these traits materialize as the sensitivity to design for widely diverse audiences, the curiosity to engage with anyone, and the imagination to draw up hundreds of new paths.
What I’ve created a lot of so far: Conferences, summits, retreats, festival activations, experiential retail, custom content, online learning, agency rebrands, consumer products, and 100-person ski trips. I’ve worked agency side for Jack Morton Worldwide and George P. Johnson and in lifestyle media at Brit+Co. I’ve freelanced for NVE, Superfly, Amplify, Tinsel Design, Xpedition, and many others in the experiential space.
What I want to create more of:
Sources of community to fight isolation in the 2020’s.
Public spaces that make fun + learning more widely accessible.
Outreach that makes people feel seen, heard, and fought for in this dizzyingly imbalanced world.
I am serious, practical, and analytical, but I am also mischievously human. I like plain language and funny analogies that no one uses and shorthand nicknames for complicated problems. I’ll always bring a positive, productive, and honest energy to your table.
